Wellington

Hello everyboty, (en francais ci-dessous)

A small update, as we haven`t been online for some days now.

We have just reached Wellington (capital of NZ) and tomorrow morning, we will take the interislander ferry to reach the South island. The boat will depart around 8.30 am (=20.30 in Bxl the day before) and will take 3hours to reach Picton, our next destination. We have travelled around the North island and I must say that we have seen beautiful landscapes, mountains, lakes, rivers, volcanos, etc...I took a lot of pictures and Steeve did a lot of filming. Actually, I am trying to burn a DVD of the already shot pictures..as I am running out of memory in my cards ;)
The food is delicious as well ;). This morning, we went to Cape Palliser, at the far south of the North island. As I am subject to Vertigo, I haven`t taken the 258 steps to reach the top of the lighthouse. :). So, I walked along the beach and started filming a bit, when I saw the seal colony. Steeve posted a picture of one of the seals taking a "sunbath". ;) It was very nice to apporach them so close.

Petite mise a jour pour un retour online. Nous sommes arrives a Wellington ce midi et demain matin, nous prenons le ferry qui relie l`ile du nord a celle ...ben du sud :)
Le bateau part a 8.30 du mat (20.30 heure de Bruxelles...la veille). Notre destination est Picton et la traversee va prendre a peu pres 3h.

Nous avons voyage a travers l`ile du nord et je dois bien dire que nous avons vu de magnifiques paysages, montagnesm lacs, rivieres, volcans...J`ai deja fait beaucoup de photos et Steeve a filme. En fait, je vais faire un DVD des photos deja prises , car je comence a etre a court d`espace sur mes cartes memoires.
La nourriture est egalement delicieuse ;)

Ce matin, nous sommes alles au Cap Palliser, a l`extreme pointe sud de l`ile du nord. En raison de mon vertige :), je n`ai pas grimpe les 258 marches qui menent au phare et j`ai donc marche le long de la plage. J`ai commence a filmer un peu et ai vu la colonie de phoques. Steeve a pris une photo d`un de ces phoques en train de prendre un "bain de soleil". C`est super de les approcher d`aussi pres.
